FlyTampa took to their Facebook page earlier this week to announce the release of their rendition of Humberside Airport (EGNJ) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This product, unlike many of their previous airport renditions, is not available on other flight simulator platforms like P3D or X-Plane.

About Humberside Airport

Humberside Airport (EGNJ) is an international airport in Kirmington, North Lincolnshire, England. It is located ten nautical miles from three primary settlements: Grimsby (east), Hull (north), and Scunthorpe (west). It was owned by Manchester Airport Group from 1999 up until 2012 when it was sold to the Eastern Group of companies. The airport has scheduled seasonal flights to Burgas, Aberdeen, Jersey, Newquay, Amsterdam, and Palma de Mallorca serviced by a host of airlines such as KLM, TUI Airways, and Eastern Airways.

Key Features

FlyTampa’s latest product for MSFS features high-resolution modeling and PBR texturing throughout the airport’s buildings. Furthermore, the terminal’s interior has also been fully modeled, along with animated passengers for the best possible immersion. All of this does not come at the cost of performance, however, as the team has optimized it with LOD modeling throughout the airport and its buildings. The developer has also included an official GSX Pro profile in the product files.
