Freeware Cessna T206H Released on Flightsim.to

A freeware Cessna T206H has been released on Flightsim.to for Microsoft Flight Simulator, developed by the user sal1800. They have previously released several other freeware add-ons for the platform.

The Cessna T206H

The T206H, manufactured by Cessna, is known for its payload versatility and easy handling. It has a 3.5-hour cruise range and can land on smaller fields. The aircraft is sometimes called the “SUV of the skies”. The T206H is powered by a turbocharged Lycoming TIO-540-AJ1A engine capable of outputting 300 hp.

The “H” model has a similar configuration to the previous U206 model, with a pilot door and a rear double door for access to the back and middle seats. The aircraft is certified as a six-seater, but can only legally carry 5 passengers in some countries.

With this add-on, you can fly an early 2000s model 206H with an engine capable of 300 hp. The aircraft add-on comes in two variants, standard tyres and tundra tyres. The model is directly identical, apart from the landing gear configuration. Each one comes with two liveries, a default steam gauge model and a model with upgraded avionics.

The developer has also said a paint kit will be included to allow anyone to make liveries. More designs will be available in future versions, according to the developer.

Some of the features include the ability to open all the doors on the aircraft via the handles or using the tablet inside. The Windows, sun visors, and glove box can all be opened and moved as it is in the real aircraft. It also includes moveable and operable overhead floodlights with dimmer controls, along with four vents that can be opened in front of the cockpit.

As on the real aircraft, a belly-mounted cargo pod can also be enabled via the tablet, which is an openable pod via the tablet or clicking from an external view. The cowl flaps are also fully operational via a lever in the virtual cockpit or through the input of real hardware. To make viewing the different instruments easier, the developer also included many instrument views with close-ups of different panels.

There are several other features also included, and you can see the full list of these on the Flightsim.to page.

The Cessna T206H is available now on Flightsim.to as a freeware add-on, where you can also find many other freeware products. You can keep up-to-date on future freeware products, as well as other flight simulator-related news and releases, here on FSNews.
