Independent developer Bgaurant released a freeware Fokker F27 MK500 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is the developer’s second release after the Persan-Beaumont Airport add-on and the first aircraft release.

About the Fokker F27
The Fokker F27 is considered one of the world’s most successful turboprop planes. Two Rolls-Royce turboprop engines power it, and it features two four-bladed propellers. It was designed to compete against the Douglas DC-3 for short to medium distances. Airlines like Turkish Airlines, Luxair, and East-West Airlines operated this plane. Various models offer more powerful engines or a smaller body.
Features
The freeware aircraft offers two Inter Air cockpit configurations, one in French and the other in English. Although there isn’t a full list of features, it provides a detailed cockpit compared to the actual cockpit of the Fokker F27.
With the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 release, you may wonder if it is also flyable in that. The answer is officially no. According to the developer, aircraft compatibility has not yet been tested for the recently released simulator, but a comment from a user on Flightsim.to says that they tested it, and it works fine. It is just not official yet. Also, according to another user’s comment, if you plan to fly this plane in VR, it looks “great” in VR.
