From the Skies to the Roads: Project Crosskart Takes MSFS to the Ground

Got Friends released their Project Crosskart for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 - now available as a download for 9.95€.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) is – as the name suggests – a flight simulator. But who says you have to stay in the skies? With the release of Project Crosskart, you can now drive straight out of your hangar and explore the world from a whole new perspective.

Project Crosskart is a unique add-on for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. It transforms the simulator into an exploration tool at 0ft AGL. Highlighting the detailed ground-level visuals and global terrain of MSFS 2024, the add-on allows users to navigate the whole simulated world. This feature provides an alternative way to experience the simulator, offering a break from traditional flight-based gameplay.

Custom Physics and Effects

The crosskart features a custom-built physics engine, with realistic gear shifts, acceleration, and handling. Whether drifting or speeding through turns, the driving experience aims to feel authentic.

MSFS2024’s dynamic weather, along with the upgraded photogrammetry, enhances the experience. Dust, mud, and water effects react to your driving. Quick refueling and a Nitro-boost system add excitement, letting players overspeed when needed.

Accessible – from Controllers to Driving Rigs

Project Crosskart supports Xbox controllers for easy plug-and-play use, while also being compatible with advanced racing rigs. This makes it accessible for both casual players and dedicated driving sim enthusiasts.
In first-person mode (MSFS2024), players can customize their karts by swapping parts. The add-on also supports multiplayer, allowing friends to explore and customize together.

Community and Availability

Priced at €9.95, Project Crosskart is available as a digital download. Additional community content can be found on platforms like Flightsim.to. Got Friends also invites users to join their Discord server for updates and events.
