Flight Sim Development Group have released El Hierro Airport (GCHI) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. FSDG have made numerous sceneries around the world and the next destination is the Canary Islands, Spain.

About El Hierro Airport

The El Hierro Airport is located northeast of El Hierro Island, between Tamaduste and La Caleta. Construction was finished in 1972, after 5 years from the start. It is the last island of the Canary Islands when compared to Spain and offers a single 1250m (4101ft) runway. The airport operates with two airlines: Binter Canarias and Canaryfly. In comparison to Madeira Airport, El Hierro Airport experiences similar harsh winds and terrain.

Both the interior and the slopped terrain of the airport is modelled. It offers realistic and dynamic lighting, which can take your night ops to the next level. You can find detailed modelling and reflective textures for all the models. Finally, everything is optimized for performance and quailty, ensuring a smooth experience.
