Flight Sim Development Group, as well known by the abbreviation FSDG, has today taken to their Facebook Page to announce the release of Mayotte Pamandzi scenery for X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery was already available for Prepar3D and the new versions were first mentioned yesterday within a post announcing a new update for the existing scenery.
Both scenery variants cover the whole area of Pamandzi commune on the island of Mayotte including the airport located in the area. Other than that, both sceneries feature good optimization, dynamic lighting, or compatibility with other addons, for example, based on the feature lists.
The X-Plane 11 scenery can be purchased through the FSDG website for €13 excluding VAT. The Microsoft Flight Simulator version of the scenery can be as well purchased through the FSDG website for, in this case, €14 excluding VAT. There were no mentions of the availability of upgrade fees for existing owners of the Prepar3D variant of the scenery.
Mayotte is a French overseas territory located between Madagascar and Mozambique right in the Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean. The scenery from FSDG covers only the Pamandzi commune on the island of Mayotte. The area of the commune covers about four square kilometers and the only airport on the island is located there.
