FSDG Releases Windhoek and Walvis Bay for MSFS

Flight Sim Development Group have announced the release of two products for Microsoft Flight Simulator: Hosea Kutako International Airport, Windhoek, Namibia (FYWH), and Walvis Bay International Airport, Namibia (FYWB).

Firstly, Windoek, is a lite product that makes use of the new simulators full graphic capability, and provides a realistic rendition of Hosea Kutako International Airport. Realistic shadows and lighting are faithfully rendered, though at no cost to performance and compatibility. Being a lite product, the developers have only included the airport, with no scenery outside the airport area. However, the addon integrates well into Asobo’s default scenery.

Walvis Bay, on the other hand, is a full product that does include surrounding areas, as well as Walvis Bay International Airport. Again, realistic lights and shadows have been rendered, with the addition of volumetric lighting. As this area is the ideal base for sightseeing, the developers have included a few surprises, such as flamingos, shipwrecks, and more.

Walvis Bay International and Hosea Kutako International are airports in Namibia, southwest Africa. Hosea Kutako is the main hub for Air Namibia, while Walvis Bay serves scheduled flights for Westair Aviation.

Both products are available from FSDG Online, with Windoek priced at EUR 11.70, and Walvis Bay priced at EUR 15.60. Both exclude VAT.
