FSimStudios announces Halifax Stanfield

FSimStudios has today formally announced their Halifax Stanfield (CYHZ) scenery. The scenery is being made in collaboration with Airfield Canada, a developer for the X-Plane platform. FSimStudios will be in charge of the P3D version, as usual, while Airfield Canada will handle the X-Plane 11 version. Some previews of the X-Plane version were already posted a week ago. Conversion to MSFS2020 is planned as well, with a discount for P3D or X-Plane customers.

Halifax Stanfield is Canada’s eighth airport and serves the Nova Scotia province. The airport has many domestic flights from all major Canadian carriers. During summer, however, a large variety of European and Latin American destinations open up as well. There is a good amount of cargo airlines that frequent the airport too.

The team say the scenery is currently in advanced development. They plan to release it in two months. It will cover the airport itself and its immediate surroundings. FSimStudios these days also models the downtown area of the cities its airports serve. That is no different here as Downtown Halifax will be covered too.
