FSimStudios CYVR update and X-Plane announcement

FSimStudios released a Facebook post yesterday evening where they give an update on their upcoming Vancouver (CYVR) airport and also announce exciting X-Plane development news.

The developer says that work on Vancouver is progressing very well and are even ahead of schedule. They currently expect the product to be released in July for P3D v4 and v5. For now, we can enjoy some more previews of Vancouver’s massive terminal building.

The post also contained an announcement. The team are working with Canada4XPlane to bring their Canadian sceneries also to X-Plane. They won’t just be port-overs. The sceneries will be made from scratch using all the X-Plane technologies but using the objects and assets FSimStudios made. Kelowna will be the first such airport to release, expected at the beginning of June. Edmonton and Vancouver will follow after that.
