FSLabs Confirms A321 for MSFS in Development, Shares Images

Today, a certain group of people have leaked the first official images of the upcoming FSLabs A321 CEO for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following that, the development team has officially decided to confirm that the aircraft is in development and share two official images of this upcoming aircraft.

Who is FSLabs?

To many, Flight Sim Labs, or FSLabs, is a well-known developer, responsible for the favourite A320 Series for the ESP platforms – Prepar3D and Flight Simulator X. Back then, FSLabs was considered the peak of Airbus simulation, and the team’s goal is currently to bring their standard to Asobo’s Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Released initially in 2016 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, FSLabs created the first study-level Airbus simulation that was highly anticipated by many, and the add-on is still loved and used by a lot of virtual pilots to this day. While the initial release only covered the A320, the constant updates, improvements and expansion packs brought the entire series to life, including Sharklet variants in Prepar3D.

They are also well-known for their Concorde, which they are also bringing to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Well-known Developer Comeback

A day like this was highly anticipated by virtual pilots who have been in the virtual skies for longer than the release of the Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the confirmation of the A321 being the first FSLabs aircraft to be brought to life by the developer might be surprising to many.

However, this will happen as officially confirmed through the Twitch streamer Chewwy94, who is in close contact with the FSLabs development team. On his Discord server, he mentioned that the A321 is going to be released first and he has this information directly from the FSLabs team.

Only two new images were shared by the developer. One of which is showing the external model of the A321 CEO Sharklet variant and its cockpit during late dusk in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Both of the images show the immersive detail the team is giving to the aircraft, with the known default livery showing its beauty in the MSFS’s graphics engine and the precise work FSLabs did.

In the cockpit, we can notice the effort the developer gave into the displays, the 3D model and the lighting and in general it looks spectacular to look at.

Lastly, Lefteris Kalamaras from the development team mentioned that all the previous leaks that happened over the course of the past few hours were incorrect, as those images were just a placeholder. Moreover, more previews should come out soon.
