FSLabs Releases A321 NEO for MSFS

The developer FSLabs has released a new version of the A321 for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. After the successful release of the A321 CEO, they are bringing the NEO variant to the simulator platforms.

The FSLabs A321 NEO promises to deliver realistic modelling with every detail meticulously crafted, including the cabin, the cockpit and the external model. This rendition includes three engine variants of the LEAP-1A engines. Pratt & Whitney variants will follow soon.

The systems include a whole-new fly-by-wire model of the A321 NEO, capturing its precise handling and aircraft behaviour both in the air and on the ground. There is also a sophisticated navigation system, and the FMGS includes offsets and flexible route planning, as well as step altitudes. Weather radar is fully functional, and GPS jamming is also simulated in this aircraft.

FSLabs, aiming for the best possible simulation experience for virtual pilots, also includes hundreds of possible failures in the aircraft that you can play around. The A321 NEO also introduces dynamic failures that occur based on the age of the aircraft in the simulator, and the random events that can occur reflect the aircraft’s operational history.

The FSLabs EFB is integrated with SimBrief and lets you configure all the things you might need during your flight, including performance calculations or engine-out escape routes. The included ACARS works with real-time loadsheets, fuel reports and slot times. The EFB is also essential in the history of the aircraft, as it logs previous flights of a certain configuration.

Compared to the A321 CEO, the A321 NEO is equipped with the newer radio panel, known as Digital Radio and Audio Integrated Management System (DRAIMS). This system also includes SELCAL monitoring, which is compatible with vPilot. This system can, however, be swapped for the original ACP.

Those who already own the FSLabs A321 CEO are eligible for a discount to purchase this variant of the aircraft. Those who don’t own the A321 CEO and would like to get the A321 NEO can purchase it via the FlightSimLabs website for approximately €61.05. This price excludes your local value-added tax, and that will be calculated upon purchasing the product.
