Miltech Simulations has introduced the M2K-C, a fourth-generation multirole fighter jet (fighter aircraft serving from the 1980s until today) add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). This release promises to be „game-changing “ as it marks an appearance of a semi-functional weapons system in the simulator, a notable expansion of MSFS’s peaceful civilian aviation focus.
The Real-Life Mirage 2000C
The M2K-C, based on the Mirage 2000C, is a single-engine delta-wing fighter developed by Dassault Aviation in France. It was first introduced in the late 1970s and was built to serve as a multi-role fighter capable of air-to-air combat and ground-attack operations. With over 600 units delivered globally, this aircraft has become a symbol of modern military aviation for countries such as France, Qatar, and Greece.
Features of the M2K-C Add-On
The M2K-C for Microsoft Flight Simulator replicates the aircraft’s charme while introducing all-new gameplay elements. A key feature of this add-on is its semi-functional weapons system, which supports air-to-air and air-to-ground operations. For air-to-air combats, the aircraft simulates various types of missiles, complete with visual tracking and firing effects. The air-to-ground role uses MK82 bombs and GBUs, supported by targeting systems displayed on the HUD and visualized by visible impacts, craters, and explosions on the terrain. Despite these features, the combat elements will remain limited by the simulator’s non-combat framework.

Miltech Simulations’ M2K-C offers an exciting piloting experience with a realistic flight model based on expert data, along with features like an inertial navigation system, autopilot, radar modes, and a radar warning receiver. The add-on also includes detailed 3D models, lifelike textures, animations such as drag chute deployment, and extras like engine covers and wheel chocks. With 16 liveries from different air forces, it combines realism with plenty of customization options.
The aircraft is available as of now for a price of 29.99 USD for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. It can be obtained from the official Miltech Simulations store, or the iniBuilds store.
