Following an announcement made way back in May 2020, Gaya Simulations are now very close to releasing Florence for MSFS and have took to Facebook to preview more images. Specially developed to show the beauty of MSFS the Florence Airport (LIRQ) scenery is perfect for VFR, low flying, pilots according to Gaya Simulations.
Gaya Simulations have a reputation for producing high-quality renditions of scenery and airports and the Florence package is no different. Set in a scenic part of Italy and a top destination for tourists, Florence Airport, and the neighbouring city, have been faithfully recreated by the people at Gaya Simulations.
The addon includes custom animation of airport traffic and many points of interest scattered in and around the airport. 3D assets, rendered in high quality, have also been placed around the city adding to the realism in the sim. Florence airport has also been optimised to to run ultra smooth.
The airport itself is known for its challenging approach and is an important hub for Vueling, It is used by different types of traffic be they GA or airliners.
When it is eventually released it will be available through Orbx and also through Microsoft Marketplace. No price, as yet, has been confirmed.
