Gaya Studios, also known as Gaya Simulations, has published an announcement about an upcoming reboot of their Vienna International Airport (LOWW) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This announcement directly follows the recent release of their new Corfu (LGKR) scenery, during which they announced the return to a standalone third-party market and that they are also going to rework their Vienna scenery.
The Vienna rework is not going to be only an update to the current iteration. Gaya Studios promises that this is going to be a complete rework built from the ground up, utilising modern simulator SDK features for better visuals and performance. This means that all parts of the airport will not remain the same, including the terminals, surrounding area, texturing and animations.
