After nearly 20 years of trajectory as a developer, Golden Age Simulations has taken to its social media to announce its cessation of operations. The developer, known for creating a variety of aircraft for FSX, Prepar3D, and MSFS 2020, has already announced the date on which product sales will come to an end.
A Closure with “Mixed Emotions”
With “mixed emotions,” Golden Age Simulations, also referred to as “GAS,” has made the decision to cease operations. Product sales will come to an end on June 30, 2025, and current vendors Just Flight, SimMarket, and the MS Marketplace have been informed of the closure. The developer has made sure the customers’ purchase history is maintained on its servers (and the vendors’), allowing them to access previously purchased models without any issues.
A “Thank you” for the Community
The developer, on behalf of all the team at GAS, thanks everyone for their support and collaboration over the years, putting an end to the development of new products and sales.
