Third-party developer GotFriends has kicked off a sale running from now on to December 3rd. Alongside the discounts, GotFriends also confirmed that the Aeroprakt A32 Vixxen is released on the insim Marketplace. The aircraft will be available for both simulator versions and all supported platforms.

Deep Discounts and Free Add-ons

For this final sale of the year, all eligible GotFriends products are priced at either $1.99 or $9.99. In addition, three products are being offered as free downloads on the website for a limited time:

  • Astro ONE
  • Gee Bee R3 Special
  • Avitar: Valor (WWII character pack)

Each of these freeware releases includes full Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 support, with Astro ONE and the Gee Bee R3 also confirmed forward-compatible with MSFS 2024. All downloads require manual installation, users can optionally access them through the Contrail platform.

Product Highlights

Astro ONE is an eVTOL inspired by the real-world Jetson ONE, offering a range of futuristic features such as terrain-tracking, hover mode, sport mode, and multiple custom race tracks.
The Gee Bee R3 Special is an aerobatic aircraft equipped with a nitrous oxide boost system, smoke effects, and a wide range of aerobatic capabilities.
Meanwhile, Avitar: Valor adds six WWII-themed pilot characters to MSFS 2020 and can be used with any aircraft supporting Asobo’s character system.

Discounted offerings include aircraft such as the AS 33 Me, Wilga 35/80, DoubleEnder, F4F-4 Wildcat, Discus-2c Premium, Mini-500, and the Project Crosskart.

Aeroprakt A-32 Vixxen Returns for MSFS 2020

GotFriends also shared an update regarding the A-32 Vixxen for MSFS 2020. Some days ago, many users were unable to see the aircraft in-sim due to an unexpected issue. According to the developer, Microsoft has now resolved the problem, and the aircraft should appear normally again.

During the outage, the Marketplace rating for the A-32 dropped significantly. The studio is encouraging affected users to leave a rating to help restore its score.
