GotFriends Releases EA-7 Edgley Optica Remaster for MSFS

GotFriends have released their first payware remaster. The new EA-7 Edgley Optica for MSFS brings an array of improvements and features.

Initially released almost a year ago as freeware, the team from GotFriends has just recently released a remaster of their EA-7 Edgley Optica aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, this time as a payware.

Being the first payware addon by the group, the developers have detailed why they made the decision to charge for this specific product. The team has explained, that they went with “One Remaster to Support Them All” scheme. Thus offering one payware remaster that will make it possible to financially support their other freeware projects.

Needless to say, the addon also comes with a vast array of improvements and new features. To name a few, users are able to enjoy complex systems, fully functional gauges in the flight deck, or Kilo, fully animated Golden Retriever in the cockpit.

In addition, the developers have also implemented Garmin 430/330 navigation and KAP130 autopilot system. For users of PMS50’s GTN750 modification, the crew has worked to make it compatible with the aircraft.

The GotFriends’ is now available through Flightsim.to for €22.95. There is, currently, a discount running for the first week making the addon cost 50% of the original price. People who donated to the project will be gifted the new remaster free of charge.

GotFriends’ is currently directly competing with Orbx and their own in-house rendition of the aircraft. If you want to learn more about that, you can read our previous article by clicking here.
