FSDreamTeam has updated their GSX Pro add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This new update brings a new significant feature to this popular add-on, which the developer talked about in a YouTube video.

Whilst this whole change was announced through their Facebook page, the YouTube video provides us with the most information.

This new feature that changes the add-on significantly is remote deicing. Remote deicing is going to work basically the same way as at-gate deicing that was available with GSX Pro until now. However, to use remote deicing, you have to taxi your aircraft to a different position at the airport. On the other hand, this is not going to be fully implemented with every scenery. Thus, if you want to get as precise deicing procedures as possible, you will have to download various airport GSX profiles to get this working.

The deicing procedure with this new feature includes also a Visual Docking Guidance System, which will be giving you updated information about your aircraft position, fluid type and what is going around your aeroplane in general.

This update definitely brings another level to the immersion you can get out of the GSX Pro add-on. Unfortunately, this new feature is not available to the legacy GSX Level 2 and GSX add-ons for ESP platforms such as Prepar3D and FSX.
