Hoowalt have released several hardware products in the past for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane; despite their much higher price points, they offer hardware of much higher quality. This time, they have released the MiniMIP for the A32X series.
Hoowalt’s Mini MIP is built with PLA material, a popular bio-degradable plastic material used heavily in 3D printing, featuring an accurate Airbus blue. It has several built-in display screens all powered through custom display driver software. Hoowalt says the product supports the Fenix, FlyByWire and Toliss A320 aircraft add-ons, with more support to be added in the future.
Supporting all the built-in screens is a single data and power cable to reduce excessive cable clutter. Looking at the dimensions, it measures in at just 508mm long and 265mm tall, and is entirely handmade with 3D printing. You can purchase the Mini MIP from Hoowalt on their website for $759.99, compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, and X-Plane 12.
