Hot Start Challenger 650 Received Major Update

The developers at Hot Start have taken to the X-Pilot.com forums to announce a new update for their rendition of the Challenger 650. This add-on is considered one of the most realistic that has ever been released for X-Plane and this update makes it even better. The current version is 1.7.

The update is quite substantial, the team has corrected dozens of issues while adding a couple of new features. The developers have implemented a two-pilot shared cockpit, removed the custom atmospheric model on X-Plane 12, and improved the HUD. Furthermore, Hot Start’s Challenger 650 is now fully compatible with X-Plane 12.

Several improvements have been made to the 3D model. Those include fixed gear bay textures, fixing wing textures, and adding missing text in the cockpit. In addition, the team has also added a DES advisory system which gives the pilot an idea of where to start the descent if no TOD point is present in the flight plan.
