iFly 737 MAX for Prepar3D in Active Development

Back in March, a well-known aircraft developer iFly, responsible for the 747 and the 737 for FSX and Prepar3D, announced their work on 737 MAX for Prepar3D v5.

While the plane was in its early days when it was initially announced, the developer showed it in the simulator already. iFly promises to create an in-depth simulation of the real aircraft, with custom, accurate flight model and new flight dynamics.

The developer actively updates us on the development through their forums, and they created the latest post today, showing business class seats and economy class seats, which currently are work in progress. It seems that the developer wants to have a full simulation of the seats, as they seem to have operational tray tables.

Furthermore, they also previewed many parts of the cockpit and some of its unique features. The developer already showed the main ND, the FMC, as well as the interior modelling of the cockpit.

The exterior modelling also got some love from the developer and we can see how it looks in the simulator.

iFly didn’t share much information on this rendition as of yet, and it is not known when it’s going to be released. If you’d like to learn more about iFly, you can read our other article here.
