After one month of being publicly available as an early-access product, developer iFly has officially released version 1.0.0 of the 737 MAX 8 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This marks the end of the early-access phase making the product available on the main Flight1 store. This version also brings an astonishing 130+ changelog bringing bug fixes and improvements on both the add-on and the iFly Manager.
What is New With The iFly 737 MAX8
With the release of MSFS 2024, Flight1 posted an announcement regarding this add-on on the new simulator. This add-on is only available for MSFS 2020. iFly is already working on bringing this aircraft to MSFS 2024 via a free upgrade. The developer will announce when the 737 MAX 8 is compatible with the new simulator. However, no time frame was provided for this update.
The developer published all the new changes and fixes shipped with version 1.0.0 of this add-on via their official Discord server. They started by thanking everyone who participated in the early phase of this add-on. With all the feedback received, they were able to bring fixes to some items of the aircraft before the official release. A 130+ changelog for version 1.0.0 was shared with multiple improvements and bug fixes. Both the aircraft and the iFly manager were updated. This new version requires the user to fully re-install this add-on. Flight1 posted the instructions to follow in case you had the aircraft previously installed. They also posted a link to the new iFly manager update. The 737 MAX 8 from iFly is now available at the Flight1 web store for $69.95.
