iFly Updates 737 MAX for MSFS 2020 and 2024

The developer iFly has updated their Boeing 737 MAX to versions 1.0.4.1 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and the 2020 version to 1.0.3.1.

The developer iFly has updated their Boeing 737 MAX to versions 1.0.4.1 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and the 2020 version to 1.0.3.1. These updates are focusing on the autopilot and certain bugs.

The developer mentions that the latest Sim Update 3 beta of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 broke some external effects, and issues with beacon light, nav lights, and strobe lights are currently present. This is a simulator issue and needs to be fixed by the Asobo team. The iFly team also mentions that some 3rd party add-ons can break the aircraft, and that users should always be careful with installing new things to their simulator if they want to use the 737 MAX.

Issues with RNP, the throttle, VNAV and flap manoeuvre speeds were fixed in both the 2020 and 2024 versions of the aircraft. This also includes issues with CDU altitude entry, the fix page and the MCP N1 button light.

The iFly team also fixed the MFD, the inability to manually insert gross weight into the FMC, as well as the VNAV path, which should no longer drop the speeds below flap manoeuvre speeds. Furthermore, it should now be possible to arm LNAV on the ground and copy V speeds to the scratchpad on the TO REF page in the FMC.

These updates of the aircraft do not require a full reinstall of the aircraft, and can be updated via the Flight1 Manager. The developer recommends, however, to completely remove your WASM folder of the iFly 737 MAX before turning on the simulator, as it is required to be rebuilt to prevent issues.
