Imaginesim Shares More Images of Singapore, Release Approaching

The developer Imaginesim has shared some new information about the upcoming scenery of Singapore Changi International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Through their Facebook page, Imaginesim shared numerous images of the airport, as well as said that the scenery “won’t be long” until the initial release.

Singapore Changi International Airport is a major international hub located in Singapore. It is one of the largest transition hubs in Asia and has been rated “World’s Best Airport” by Skytrax numerous times. The airport is located in Changi district, as the name suggests, and it is approximately 24 kilometres away from downtown Singapore City. Its strategic location is a huge advantage for layovers if you are flying from Europe to Australia or vice versa. It is a focus city for Qantas, as well as FedEx.

The airport was opened in 1981 originally, and it has been in several development cycles ever since. The airport is still being expanded to this day, and it will be expanded in the future as well, with a new terminal and a new runway, doubling its capacity by 2040.

Imaginesim shared some external previews of the airport, mainly showing the airside and landside of the airport. From the previews, we can see that the developer created custom jetways, custom buildings and even ground textures for the airport. However, no official feature list was shared as of writing this article.
