The developer Imaginesim has released their rendition of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport for MSFS 2024. The MSFS 2024 release builds upon Imaginesim’s original MSFS 2020 version, carrying over much of the existing work into the new platform, as well as adding some highly anticipated features.
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (ICAO: KDFW) is the second-largest and busiest airport in the United States, located in the heart of Texas between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth. It serves as a major hub for American Airlines and currently serves flights to 265 destinations around the world. The airport features seven runways and five terminals, with a sixth terminal scheduled to open in 2026.

The scenery features all five terminals, along with the sixth terminal currently under construction. The buildings are designed with high-definition textures. The airport layout is up-to-date, including facilities for cargo operators. Since the previous MSFS 2020 release, Imaginesim has introduced several new features, including the now-animated SkyTrain system that operates around the airport. Custom SafeGate™ Visual Docking Guidance has been added, alongside interactive bespoke jetways and detailed animations.

On the performance side, the developer promises exceptional level of detail (LOD) optimisations, ensuring stable gameplay even when using complex airliner cockpits and under high-density AI traffic coverage.
Imaginesim’s Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport scenery is now available for MSFS 2024, priced at approximately €29.65 (subject to GBP conversion rates) via the developer’s website. Existing owners of the MSFS 2020 version are entitled to a free upgrade.
