IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations has released a flurry of updates on their ambitious military aircraft developments, confirming ongoing work on the Eurofighter Typhoon, the F-16A Falcon, and the TA-4J Skyhawk. The developer apologised for the lack of recent updates, stating that the intensive workload across multiple projects had prevented regular communication with the flight sim community. The developer has continued active development across both DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
Eurofighter Typhoon
The Eurofighter Typhoon project has reached a significant milestone where the aircraft can now be operated according to real-world checklists, though 3D modelling remains incomplete. IndiaFoxtEcho claims to have invested considerable time detailing the landing gear system and still requires completion of the slat actuators, the PIRATE system, the wing pylons, and the drag chute. The cockpit has been completed and is fully clickable, with flight model development currently underway. The target is a closed Alpha build with complete geometry by the end of the month.

F-16A Falcon
The F-16A Falcon was developed in collaboration with Heatblur Simulations, featuring what IndiaFoxtEcho describes as potentially the most detailed F-16 model ever created for recreational use. The developer has expressed satisfaction with the quality achieved thus far and is currently conducting “acceptance reviews” of the 3D model before proceeding with the coding. Despite acknowledging numerous delays on this project, IndiaFoxtEcho is confident that a post-summer release remains achievable.

TA-4J Skyhawk
The TA-4J Skyhawk project has also significantly progressed according to the developer, with an external model that is 99% complete, requiring only minor detail work to finalise the exterior. IndiaFoxtEcho has begun adding code implementation and has developed a preliminary flight model. Cockpit development is set to begin shortly. The project appears to be advancing steadily through its development phases, representing the closest to completion among the three aircraft projects.

Platform Compatibility and Technical Issues
IndiaFoxtEcho has confirmed that the upcoming aeroplanes will remain MSFS 2020 SDK developments, citing the larger player base for the 2020 version. However, they also ensure compatibility with MSFS 2024, indicating their commitment to both versions. IndiaFoxtEcho has received reports on compatibility issues with the MSFS “SIM UPDATE 3 BETA”, causing crash-to-desktop (CTD) problems with their aircraft. The developer advises users to avoid the SU3 Beta version whilst confirming normal operation with Sim Update 2. The developer has also temporarily suspended downloads of older freeware projects for FSX and Prepar3D platforms, with their Tornado project experiencing version update delays on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace.
