With the iniBuilds A380 releasing in the coming days, multiple internet personalities and livestreamers took to their platforms of choice to showcase this new add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. iniBuilds provided these streamers with a pre-release version of this add-on so they could use it in a livestream to show it to the community and test it out.
As is usual with these releases by a major developer, livestremers were given early access to test this aircraft hands-on and share their thoughts with the community. It also highlights even more of what was shown in the iniBuilds video presentation of this add-on. The livestreamers were able to focus on a more normal operating setting, showcasing how you are going to experience the A380 when you use this add-on during a flight in the simulator.
Summary of Some of the Livestreams
The livestreams featuring the pre-release version of the iniBuilds A380 were mostly done on the 10th of September by high-profile streamers on both Twitch and YouTube. Most of the flights done by the livestreamers were shorter flights to showcase multiple liveries and places, as in the case of LondonController, who made two flights featuring different A380 liveries.
Most of the streams followed a similar format where they performed a normal flight while discovering more of what this aircraft has to offer. Some of them, however, featured long-haul flights split into multiple livestreams and even executed an engine fire situation live with this aircraft. Although most of the flights on stream went smoothly, some WASM module errors occurred live, most notably on both LondonController’s and Kenco’s livestreams.
The iniBuilds A380 is set to release next week via the MSFS2024 marketplace. The version shown on social media these last few days is still a pre-release version and doesn’t represent the final build coming next week. iniBuilds will also host a special VATSIM event in collaboration with some vACC involved, like VATSIM UK, to celebrate the launch of the A380.
