Developer and publisher iniBuilds has in cooperation with Fly X Simulations released a new Kefalonia Airport (LGKF) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Announced via the iniBuilds Discord server, the latest rendition of this small Greek airport is now available.

Kefalonia Airport serves as the main airport on Kefalonia Island, Greece. It was opened in 1971 and the newest runway together with the terminal were built in the 1980s. Currently, the airport is operated by Fraport, a joint venture that operates almost all major international airports in the country.

The only scheduled flight that operates throughout the whole year from this airport is to Greece’s capital, Athens. Other than that, the airport is very busy during summer, with seasonal flights to destinations like Belgrade, Bucharest, Oslo, Innsbruck, Naples, Prague or Munich.

iniBuilds and Fly X Simulations’ Kefalonia Features

iniBuilds and Fly X Simulations created a detailed scenery of this airport with highly detailed airport buildings, along with a detailed terminal interior. The models are all covered in high-resolution PBR textures.

Speaking of the ground and airport layout, the scenery includes an up-to-date AFCAD, so it is suitable for online flying. The ground is covered in custom textures for the ground markings, too.

If you would like to get this scenery, you can purchase it via the iniBuilds website for approximately €11.69.
