iniBuilds Announces Leeds Bradford Airport for MSFS

The iniBuilds team has published a new announcement via their Discord, describing that they are working on a new rendition of Leeds Bradford Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The release is also happening later today.

About Leeds Bradford Airport

Leeds Bradford Airport (EGNM) is an international airport located in West Yorkshire, England. It serves both the cities of Leeds and Bradford. It opened in 1931 and was largely used for general aviation and training purposes. The first scheduled flights took place in 1935 and the first terminal was also being built at the time. During the 1960s, when the jet era started, a new runway was built and British manufacturer Avro constructed a shadow factory here.

Nowadays, Leeds Bradford Airport serves as a base for Jet2 and Ryanair and both of these airlines offer the most routes from the airport at the moment. Among these two airlines, the airport is also being operated by Aer Lingus, KLM, TUI, Wizz or SunExpress.

Virtual pilots will surely enjoy the variety of destinations across Europe from this airport, and you can get basically to any corner of the continent from here. There are scheduled flights to Dubrovnik, Paphos, Prague, Alicante, Bucharest and much more.

What Will the iniBuilds Rendition Offer?

The iniBuilds team once again promises a detailed airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator with many modern features included. Future users of this Leeds Bradford Airport scenery can expect high-quality hand-made textures across the whole scenery, including runways, taxiways, 3D models and even surrounding paths and roads. There is also a true-to-life landside of the airport with custom decals, vegetation, signposts, parking barriers and other objects.

Speaking of the airport itself, anybody who flies on online networks is going to appreciate an up-to-date airport layout reflecting the current situation at the airport. Jetways at the airport are custom-built, with realistic PBR textures and variations.

From the technical side of things, the developer promises to utilize Flight Simulator’s SDK to optimise the Level of Detail radius, delivering the best performance possible on any computer. You can also manage details via the iniManager app for this scenery. And lastly, the developer included an official GSX profile for everyone who uses GSX for ground services.

The scenery will be available via the iniBuilds store and the iniManager app for approximately €11.72, excluding local taxes. We will inform you about the release of the scenery later today. You can also take a look at their previously released Dubai scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
