iniBuilds has released a quality-of-life update for London City Airport and it hits harder than its modest size suggests. Now, iniBuilds has returned to this iconic airport and sharpened accuracy across the scenery by correcting visual inconsistencies.
This includes tightening ground service behavior and polishing the small details that define London City’s unforgiving environment. These updates are the type where refinement makes a huge difference and the deeper you look the more you are going to notice.

London City Airport is an airport where every second on approach counts. Known for a steep descent through the glass canyon of East London. Pilots touch down on an ultra-short runway of 4,948 feet, a strip so short it feels more like a challenge than a landing zone. This requires both perfect energy management aligned with firm breaking on touch down. Due to these factors the airport is restricted to specific aircraft like the Embraer E-Jets and Airbus A220s.
This update includes a series of targeted improvements. Including correcting the mislabeled Excel building, where it was labeled “Excel” instead of its official name, “ExCel”. Gates 12 to 14 have been reconfigured to nose out positions. They also updated the fuel truck routing to reduce the chance of a ground collision which will strengthen immersion. While each fix is subtle individually, collectively they contribute to a smoother and more believable airside environment.

These are the kinds of changes that lands with purpose. iniBuilds continues to lean into community feedback. Shaping each update with the precision of developers who understand that immersion lives in the details.
iniBuilds London City Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available for $17.15 USD / €15.07 / £12.99, with the latest update to v1.0.1 available through the iniManager.
