iniBuilds recently took to its Discord server to share a fresh set of preview images from its upcoming Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ICAO: KORD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The scenery package is currently targeting a summer release, though a specific launch date has not yet been announced.
Previews
The screenshots, shared in the iniBuilds Discord server, offer a closer look at several areas modelled by the team for the upcoming scenery. Particular attention has been given to the terminal interiors, gate areas, and airport signage, with the previews showcasing a range of custom assets throughout the airport.

The images also show several custom-modelled elements, including the Brachiosaurus dinosaur skeleton located in Terminal 1, alongside the airport’s interior lighting, signage and terminal architecture.

Additional images highlight the airport’s airside environment, featuring the American Airlines maintenance hangar, custom jetways, and a substantial amount of ground clutter across the apron. Various pieces of ground service equipment and airport infrastructure can also be seen throughout the previews.
Closing Notes
At the time of writing, iniBuilds has not announced a price for Chicago O’Hare, and a firm release date beyond the current summer release window has yet to be announced. Additional previews and announcements can be found through the iniBuilds Discord server, and further coverage will appear here on FSNews.
