iniBuilds took to their Discord server today to announce the release of their rendition of Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The anticipated airport rendition was teased just this morning with a stunning trailer and released a couple of days after the developer had released a freeware Yas Island scenery for the platform.
About Abu Dhabi Zayed International
Zayed International Airport, also formerly known as Abu Dhabi International Airport is the primary international airport serving Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is the second busiest in the country after DXB and is the hub for Etihad Airways, the country’s second flag carrier, as well as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.
The airport is located 30 kilometers east of the city and covers a massive 3,400 hectares of area. The airport is served by 28 airlines including Aeroflot, Air India, Gulf Air, IndiGo, Saudia, and Vistara which offer services to 128 destinations across more than 40 countries. The airport was very recently renamed to Zayed International Airport after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s founder.

Moreover, custom-built jetways with realistic variations using PBR texturing and animations have also been added. The developers have also included an official GSX Pro profile in the scenery folder.
