A new scenery has been released by developer iniBuilds for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. After releasing their London Gatwick scenery last month, the developers have returned to North America to bring another airport to life. Providence, this year’s FSExpo host city, has received a rendition of its airport for MSFS 2024. iniBuilds made this scenery in collaboration with multiple companies and partners. This scenery falls under the Premium category, including features expected from this category. It comes with not only a rendition of the airport, but also custom buildings surrounding the airport and a full recreation of FSExpo inside the simulator at the convention center.
About This Airport
Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (KPVD) is an airport located in Warwick, Rhode Island, near the city of Providence. It is the biggest airport in the state of Rhode Island, served by all major U.S carriers to multiple domestic destinations and some international flights.
The airport first opened in 1931 and has been updated through the decades, even being used by the Air Force at some point. The airfield received its final renovation in 1996 with the opening of its passenger terminal named after Bruce Sundlun, a former state governor. Last year, this airport saw over 4 million passengers use their terminal to arrive at their destination.

iniBuilds Rendition
iniBuilds revealed that they visited this airport to take pictures of it for the making of this scenery. Thanks to FSExpo and the airport staff, they were able to capture more details of this airport to have a more accurate rendition of it inside the simulator. iniBuilds posted some of their work at the airport and compared it to the scenery inside the simulator.

This airport was made in collaboration with Go Providence, the Rhode Island Convention Center, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, FSExpo, and the Flight Simulation Association (FSA). They helped arrange the visit at the airport for this scenery, but also for being the host of this year’s FSExpo at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
iniBuilds added multiple features to this scenery. Ground textures of this airport’s roads and ground are all handcrafted with high-quality textures. The terminal building was built entirely by the development team, featuring interiors, high-quality jetways, and textures. Objects were added all around the airport, including lights and airport vehicles. The airport layout is the same as the real airport, and it includes an official GSX profile.

With FSExpo being only weeks away, iniBuilds added to this scenery a complete recreation of the Rhode Island Convention Center. Inside, you will find a recreation of FSExpo inside MSFS 2024 with custom objects to reflect the real exhibition floor. This is the first time FSExpo is modeled inside the simulator according to iniBuilds. They also released a video showcasing FSExpo inside the simulator.

Providence Rhode Island Airport (KPVD) is now available for MSFS 2024 exclusively. Right now, you can get this scenery for only £9.99 (excl. VAT) as part of a FSExpo Launch Offer, which will last only two weeks. The scenery is available at the iniBuilds Store for £12.99.
