iniBuilds Releases Queenstown Airport for MSFS

Claimed to be their most-scenic creation yet, iniBuilds’ division iniScene has recently released a new scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Claimed to be their most-scenic creation yet, iniBuilds’ division iniScene has recently released a new scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time covering the Queenstown Airport (NZQN), the fourth-busiest airport in New Zealand encompassed by mountain range offering the pilots a beautiful but challenging approach to the airport, the scenery was developed to the latest standards.

It offers hand-made ground polygons with crisp and bespoke texture sets, true-to-life airport landside recreation with custom ground decals, or hand-placed vegetation, signs, and other custom objects.

A custom orthoimagery was also created for the scenery to perfectly blend with the default imagery around the airport. Further, for the best immersion possible, the terminal interior was recreated by the developers with custom lighting and objects.

As with other sceneries from iniBuilds (iniScene), there is a lot the scenery has to offer and the complete feature list can be found below in the article in case you would want to go through it yourself.

The scenery can be purchased through the iniBuilds Store for the previously announced price of about €12.80 when converted from pounds. Of course, with taxes excluded.

Queenstown Airport (NZQN) is an international airport serving the resort town of Queenstown on the southern island of New Zealand. It is the fourth busiest airport in New Zealand by passenger traffic. The airport is located nearby a mountainous region allowing a very scenic approach and departures. The runway is also narrower and shorter than normal making it also a difficult airport to land in, especially when this factor is combined together with the nearby mountainous region.
