The iniBuilds A350 development is coming to an end, and with that, the developer shared the first official trailer for the aircraft. This trailer has been shared on YouTube alongside detailed information about this upcoming product.
Development Update by iniBuilds
To start things off, the iniBuilds team shared an extensive development update through their whole add-on line up. However, we will cover only the A350 news in this article.
The iniBuilds team immediately revealed a feature list of this modern airliner iteration in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The add-on will include detailed 3D cabins with a custom cabin announcement system and even a detailed flight attendant panel. The iniBuilds A350 will also include detailed system simulation, Navigraph integration, and SimBrief import, and all of that will be accompanied by custom terrain radar and GPS jamming simulation in certain areas of the world.
As the A350 is still quite a new aircraft, the iniBuilds team made sure to include the most up-to-date safety features, such as brake-to-vacate, fully integrated Airport Navigation Function and deep ECAM simulation. You can test the safety capabilities of this aircraft by using the custom failures shipped with the add-on.
All of that is covered in detailed 3D exterior and interior models, with immersive textures.
The iniBuilds team then proceeds to show some interesting simulation features of this A350. To name a few, over 80 electrical buses are accurately modelled, the plane will dynamically react to the electrical load, and there are different battery options and a simulation of noise-optimised N1 settings.
In the screenshots, you can also notice the ECAM, brake-to-vacate, or generator page in action. As a last note, after reevaluating the feedback the iniBuilds team received, the A350 is also going to release for the previous version of Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020). This is some great news for a vast majority of flight simulator enthusiasts, as the Flight Simulator 2024 is still not as capable in day-to-day simulation.
The A350 Trailer
The trailer starts by the narrator saying that the A350 is going to be released in the first quarter of 2025. Which is going to be in the following four months, approximately.
The trailer then in-detail shows the exterior, as well as the interior of the A350. We can notice the highly detailed flight deck, as well as the immersive passenger cabin, with inspiration taken from Emirates with the colours and lighting used there.
The flight attendant panel is then shown in action, and we can notice that this panel includes door management, lights, temperature, water and waste management, as well as a smoke detector overview.
Lastly, the iniBuilds team said that despite the trailer showing only the A350-900 variant, the A350-1000 variant is going to be available immediately on the release day.
