Ever since December 2023, when iniBuilds first announced they were developing an Airbus A350 for the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform, there has been a huge amount of community interest.
This was proven still true. In the final days of January, on their Discord server, it was confirmed by iniBuilds’ CEO, Ubaid, that the A350 release would be in “not Jan, not March”. Quite understandably, the community instantly took this as a friendly tease that a February release is on the cards.
Further pushing this topic as part of their community questions session, iniBuilds gleaned that a release date had internally been set, but they wouldn’t, at this time, be commenting any further on when that exact date would be.

More features confirmed in the session were a full GSX integration, implementation of emergency descent to 10,000ft, and auto step climb. Those wanting even more information should “stay tuned in Feb“.
Although not a firm commitment and, no doubt, designed to tease the community, there are some reasonable cues that a February release wouldn’t be unreasonable. We have only to remember though that confirmation of the A350 heading into Beta testing was only in mid-January
What do we already know?
iniBuilds has been clear from the start that this will be one of their flagship products and offer a simulation that is as immersive as any other desktop-level flight simulation product. Features such as Custom Terrain Radar, Airport Navigation Function (ANF) and Brake-to-Vacate (BTV) have already been confirmed earlier in the development cycle.
From the enthusiastic response on Discord, forums and social media to this potential release window tease, we can see that this is a product the community is really looking forward to. Whether iniBuilds showcases more features before release is unknown. There’s no doubt, however, that the community will remain very interested to see what the final product will contain.
