iniBuilds Updates The A350 for MSFS to Version 1.0.11

The developer iniBuilds has released a new update for their popular Airbus A350 rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This new update improves the current features and adds both visual and functional features for virtual pilots to enjoy.

All of the information about this update has been published via the iniBuilds forums, and the post starts with the new Fly-By-Wire features in this aeroplane. This build includes the Auto De-Rotation system, which is part of the advanced Fly-By-Wire logic. This logic is intended to help with the most crucial part of the flight – the landing. During landing, this feature helps with lowering the nosewheel, helping you avoid excessive changes in pitch.

The team also enhanced the GPS jamming feature, which will now be more realistic. This is ensured by newly integrated data to the aircraft, based on the location you are flying over, as opposed to the random GPS jamming, which was not specific to the position of the aircraft in previous versions of the A350.

Going over to the visual related things, the aircraft now also includes a cockpit printer, on which you can print out crucial information about your flight, including METARs, ATIS, flight plans and more. This is available through OIS and the FMS. To make this behaviour realistic, iniBuilds implemented a combination of 3D model animations and show/hide attachments, simulating the printing process realistically.

Another visual quirk available in this version is the cabin condensation effect. This is a specific effect related to the cabin and cockpit windows, which will condensate based on differences in outside air temperature and cabin temperature. Windshield heat is also taken into consideration when creating this effect. This is exclusive to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, unfortunately.

Speaking of the recently released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, it is now possible to use the planned route API to integrate your flight plan into the FMS using the Flight Simulator 2024 default flight planner.

Lastly, new ECAM messages are available in this version, including abnormalities of landing gear configuration or doors. A lot of bugs were fixed as well, including art issues on certain default liveries, winglets alignment, sounds, and a lot more.
