Ahead of the upcoming release of an update to Just Flight’s Piper PA-28 line of products, an updated changelog was posted bringing good news to MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 pilots on both Xbox and PC. A wide range of improvements will be made across many aspects of their products.
Just Flight Piper Arrow for MSFS Updates and New Features
Just Flight released a detailed changelog on their forum and the r/flightsim Reddit community. It dives deeply into various new features as well as bug fixes. This major update will tackle existing issues with the Tablet/Electronic Flight Bag, troubles with keybinds, textures, and system problems reported by users. The most anticipated change is the upcoming support of the aircraft for MSFS 2024.

In a previous article, we revealed Just Flight’s updates regarding MSFS 2024 compatibility with their aircraft, and they committed to making the PA-28 series into an MSFS 2024 native package. Just Flight is adding support for all the new features the simulator has to offer, such as a more comprehensive flight model and improved low-speed flight characteristics.

Just Flight also outlined an update to their Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) interface, changing its aesthetics as well as adding new features. The Just Flight V3 EFB now includes the much-anticipated support for Navigraph Enroute Charts with the option to draw and interact with paper charts. Just Flight prides itself on creating aircraft with deep system simulation, but never fails to deliver stunning visuals. Cockpit view and showcase cameras have been improved, and many textures have been revamped to suit both platforms. The bloom effect of landing lights was improved to match the real aircraft. You’ll also be able to catch the Attitude Indicator wobbling during the engine start, which promises to bring the aircraft to life at the beginning of every flight. A more detailed changelog is available on the Just Flight Forum.
A Student Pilot’s Dream
The PA-28 Warrior, PA-28R Arrow and Turbo Arrow Series as aircraft models are a testament to Piper Aircraft’s long-lasting history of building sturdy aircraft since the early 1960s. Given its forgiving flight characteristics and sturdy build, it’s a great trainer aircraft.

In recent years, airclubs across the United Kingdom and the US have brought many modernisations to the aircraft, including the addition of Garmin GNS 430/GNS 530 and GTN 750 avionics, all of which are featured in Just Flight’s rendition. If you are considering taking up flight training, look no further than the Piper PA-28.
