Recently, the A330 aircraft has been making noise in the flight simulation community. Aerosoft has released their version of this aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. After this release, LatinVFR jumped on the action to announce via Facebook that their A330-200CEO is also available for MSFS 2020. LatinVFR has also shared a trailer for this aircraft via YouTube and a list of features. The trailer focuses on showcasing the features of this aircraft in action on the simulator.
LatinVFR A330 Features
LatinVFR brings the A330 to MSFS with multiple features. This A330-200 add-on boasts 3 engine variants (GE, RR, PW) and is assigned to the respective liveries of the airlines that operate one of these engines. According to the developer, the textures of this aircraft were created to have the highest quality. This is reflected in the liveries and interiors included in this aircraft.

The cockpit of this aircraft comes with all the basic functionality of an A330 and more features. The cockpit is realistically modeled and has custom systems specific to this aircraft. This add-on has VNAV, Fuel Dump, and Trim Tank Simulation capabilities.
This add-on was created with flight dynamics similar to the ones from the real aircraft. On the cabin, you can find the EFB with multiple features. Weather reports, SimBrief integration, Navigraph charts, and ground services management can all be accessed via this EFB. The navigation display also comes equipped with Navigraph Onboard Airport Navigation System (OANS) to access a map of the airport on the ground.

Moving to the passenger cabin, we are greeted with a modeled 3-class configuration cabin and different airline decorations depending on the livery. The galleys of this aircraft are also modeled. Cabin announcements are also available and will play automatically based on the flight’s progress. LatinVFR implemented realistic sounds that you can hear throughout the aircraft.
LatinVFR has confirmed that future updates to enhance this add-on are coming soon. Updates have already been delivered by the developer fixing some errors with this aircraft after launch. In a Facebook comment, the developer confirmed that a freighter version is coming soon. However, it is currently unknown whether the A330F will come with this add-on or if it is a standalone add-on.
No comments regarding an MSFS2024 version of this add-on were mentioned in this post. The LatinVFR A330-200CEO is now available via the MSFS marketplace. You can also read about the other A330 release by Aerosoft in our previous article.
