LatinVFR has taken to their Facebook to provide an update on the compatibility of its products with the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, offering insights into their development plans and ongoing projects.
LatinVFR Current Forecast
The developer has confirmed they have had access to the MSFS 2024 developer alpha for some time, reassuring users that their aircraft and airport products will be fully compatible with the platform from day one. Furthermore, customers who have purchased their products for MSFS 2020 will receive them for MSFS 2024 at no additional cost, granted they are available in the MSFS 2024 marketplace.
Despite this, some products such as AREX and Global Vehicle Traffic, require further adjustments from Microsoft and Asobo to achieve full day-one compatibility. Meanwhile, LatinVFR remains optimistic that these issues will be addressed. The timing and resolution depend on additional work by the MSFS developers.

In terms of creating fully optimized MSFS 2024-native versions of their products, LatinVFR estimates that this process will take approximately three months per product once their workflow has been streamlined. Although this is an ambitious undertaking, the team has assured users that it is part of their long-term roadmap.
On the other hand, the current priorities are focused on other key projects, including the much-anticipated avionics update of their Airbus products. LatinVFR is also making progress on the development of their flagship aircraft including the A321ceo and A330-300ceo. Both aircraft are awaiting the avionics update to develop further. Their release is expected to be a major milestone for the developer and the community alike.

LatinVFR is set to provide further updates in the near future as they continue to work on these exciting projects. We can expect detailed announcements as the team makes progress on compatibility updates. Keep an eye out also for new product releases, and MSFS 2024-native optimizations.
