Leading Edge Simulations DC-3 Development Update

Leading Edge Simulations, also known as LES, has shared a development update about their rendition of DC-3 for X-Plane 11.

The developer was talking about what we can expect to be improved in the near future. It was said that with the power of newest graphical user interface (GUI) available in X-Plane, the developer built, in their opinion, clear, simple, easy to use and informative way in loading the aircraft.
There are two columns, actions and information, in the actions area, you load the aircraft and in the information area you get your information about the center of gravity, gross weight, etc. You can also select between pounds and kilograms if you need to.

The new interface won’t cover only the fuel and these information, but also will control the payload, passenger loading and cargo loading, every these pieces of information, there is going to be a graphical display of the limits and current weight, etc.

The developer notes that you’ll need to be very precise with everything, the aircraft have to be balanced, so it will behave as it should. Every these actions will have to be done before the engines were started.
