Magknight 787 EFB Development Update (June 2020)

Magknight developer, aeroniemi, has today shared via the X-Plane.org Forums a new development update regarding the new EFB Magknight has been working on for the past month. As you might know from our previous posts, the developers are currently completely reworking the cockpit model and textures, and the new EFB should be part of the new cockpit.

Aeroniemi wrote: “large changes to the EFB are being made, including: New AIRCRAFT CONFIG system, allowing you to manage all the important aircraft loadout features, including the galley, crew and cargo”

And continued: “New take off calculator, incorporating a variety of new features, such as automatic flap selection for flaps 5, 10, 15, 17, 18 and 20, runway intersection support (for limited airports) and SEL TEMP (ATM) calculation”.

Not only that, but the landing calculator will be also featured in the new EFB with a new error appearance in the Windows XP style.

The developers have been also working on a new FMS, but no previews were shared showcasing that. The release date is unknown as of right now.
