A new scenery package for Región de Murcia International Airport (IATA: RMU, ICAO: LEMI) has been released for X-Plane 12 by Mango Studios, following their last month’s release of Skiatos Airport. Located in southeast Spain, the airport opened in January 2019, replacing the former Murcia–San Javier Airport. It is positioned between the villages of Corvera, Los Martínez del Puerto, and Valladolises, within the municipality of Murcia.

The scenery includes a custom-built passenger terminal and airport structures based on the real-world layout. Ground surfaces feature 4K textures, along with custom runway materials and real-world lighting tones implemented for night operations. Orthophotos at Zoom Level 19, current as of 2025, are included for surrounding terrain representation.
Environmental elements such as 3D volumetric grass, hand-placed trees, and full 3D forests are integrated using X-Plane 12’s vegetation system. The terminal roof includes an animated ventilation system, and airport traffic is also animated across the airside and landside areas. The scenery features custom vehicles with HD PBR materials, and realistic GSE elements are included throughout the ramp.

Roadside infrastructure includes custom clutter assets such as streetlights and signage, as well as custom highway signs positioned according to their real-world locations. Dynamic weather effects are supported through native X-Plane 12 functionality.
The add-on is currently available only for X-Plane 12. However, the developer mentioned on its Discord server that there will be compatibility for X-Plane 11 soon. You can get the add-on on the SimMarket, the X-Plane.org store, the Orbx store, as well as the Mango Studios store.
