A popular X-Plane add-on developer, Mango Studios, has released a new soundpack for the Toliss’ Airbus A319, starting a series of add-on for the entire A320 family. Just two weeks before releasing the Airbus modification Mango Studios released the engine mod for the Boeing 767 from Flight Factor add-on.
About The Soundpack
A319 soundpack provides complete reworked sounds for the ToLiss aicraft and is compatible with X-Plane 12 and 11. It includes authentic real-world sounds for all aircraft systems, such as the APU, PTU, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, flaps, slats, and packs. The pack also features real-world recorded sounds for mechanical switches, buttons, selector knobs, and rotary dials within the cockpit overhead, pedestal, and FCU panel.
In the cockpit, it includes sounds for blowers, packs, changes in electrical buses, and wipers, with pitch and volume adjustments based on wiper speed. Master warning, master caution, radar altitude callouts, EGPWS, and TCAS aural warnings, as well as inner, middle, and outer marker aural warnings, are provided. The pack also includes mechanical horn sounds inside and outside the aircraft, as well as emergency evacuation horn sounds for the cabin and cockpit.
For the cabin, it includes real-world recorded sounds for hydraulic pumps, fuel pumps, flaps, slats, PTU, and APU, with the ability to toggle passenger effects on and off using the Mango Studios Sounds Plug-in.
The soundpack also includes environmental effects for the entire aircraft, covering both interior and exterior sounds, such as rotate effect, gear roll, rattling, gear retraction/extension, and gear, flap, and spoiler drag sounds. Additionally, there are specific touchdown effects for the nose gear, main gear, and the exterior tires, as well as rain effects.
Engine sounds are provided for both the CFM International CFM-56-5 and IAE V2500-A5 engines, including start-up and shutdown sounds, and covering idle to spool, inside and outside the aircraft. Custom exhaust sounds and surround sounds for activating engine reversers are also included.
In the future soundpacks for the A320 NEO and for both CEO and NEO variants of the A321 will also be released, with the same level of details.
About The Engine Mod
Mango Studio’s 767 Pratt & Whitney PW4000 Engine mod for the Flight Factor B767 is a modification that includes a model of the engine, replicating features like vents, screws, fins, and flaps as found on the actual PW4000 engine used in the Boeing 767.
The mod provides pre-made liveries for several airlines, including Delta, American Airlines, Condor, FedEx, United, Austrian, and UPS. It includes a manual and video tutorial for installation. The mod is not compatible with the 400 variant, and a paint kit is available upon request. A soundpack is not included.
The modification doesn’t change performance of the aicraft making only a visual change.
