Commercial Simulation Systems, also known as “CSS,” has taken to its Discord Server to announce a significant update regarding its launcher, new 737 variants, and a new pricing and sales policy. The developer, after months of development, has finally published what it has been working on.

CSS Launcher Redesign

The developer has been “carefully crafting a new visually appealing, intuitive, and easy-to-use design for the CSS Launcher.” Finally, after a couple of months, the launcher is in its final testing phase and will become available automatically for all users. An image below shows what the new interface will look like:

New Variants of the 737 Classic Lineup

Following the initial 737-500 release, and after months of silence, CSS is finally revealing exactly what it has been working on behind the scenes. The CSS 737-300 and -400 passenger and freighter versions will be joining the 737 Classic lineup “very shortly.”

Additionally, the team has been rebuilding the project to “make it in line” with the proper MSFS 2024 infrastructure. This translates into the next update featuring a stable, native MSFS 2024 version, while in the long term, it will allow the developer to take full advantage of the features MSFS 2024 has to offer for the CSS 737 Classic V2. As promised by CSS, all of the new 737 Classic variants will be available at no additional cost to all customers for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

Sales & Pricing Policies Revamp

The developer, after receiving “a lot of community feedback,” has included a series of bullet points highlighting the most important aspects of its revamped sales and pricing policy, which will take effect with the release of the new 737 Classic variants. You can review them below:

  • The current monthly, yearly, and permanent license options will remain available and grant you access to all CSS 737 Classic variants.
  • The 737-300, 737-400, and 737-500 passenger versions will be available as standalone, permanent purchases priced at $45 each.
  • The 737-300 and 737-400 freighters will be available as add-ons to their respective passenger versions for $10 each.
  • The monthly and yearly subscription options will ONLY be available for purchase via the CSS Launcher.
  • If you have an active subscription, the standalone variants will not be available for purchase until your subscription expires.
  • If you purchase a standalone variant, you will no longer be able to purchase the subscriptions or the $120 full permanent license.
