MK Studios has taken to their Facebook page to share some information about their upcoming La Guardia Airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
In the Facebook post, the developer mentions that a lot of work has been done on the scenery of the second-largest airport in the New York metropolitan area. According to them, this is going to be MK Studios’ finest scenery to date.
The scenery went through a lot of testing and improvements that the team got from the community, this includes insights and images of the airport and beta testing of the software.
La Guardia Airport is currently undergoing large improvements in real life, with a new concourse and terminal aimed to open in 2025. Thus, the MK Studios team ultimately decided to include Terminal 3’s concourse F in this scenery, which is the last one to be finished in real life.
Speaking of more MK Studios’ sceneries, the team is currently working on bringing their older recreations to their latest modern standards, comparable to the upcoming La Guardia, as mentioned in one of the Facebook comments under the post. Currently, the team is working on updates for Keflavik and Lisbon airports, with Rome following later. Other destinations like Dublin Airport weren’t mentioned yet.
At the beginning of the post, MK Studios also mentioned that they are very close to the release. We might thus expect more information on this scenery in the coming days.
