MK-Studios Releases Rome Fiumicino for MSFS

As initially revealed earlier this month, MK-Studios has today introduced their Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator to the public.

Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF) is an essential airport in the European air transportation network. Apart from being a big hub for passengers travelling to various destinations throughout the world, it is also a significant cargo hub. The airport offers a beautiful approach alongside the outstanding Italian coastline.

The scenery has been publicly in development since June 2020. Initially though meant to be released for Prepar3D, the developers have essentially decided to convert their models to the Microsoft Flight Simulator’s SDK and release for the newer platform first.

When it comes to scenery features, it offers everything users can expect from new scenery releases nowadays. That includes high-definition PBR textures, custom orthoimagery for the airport area, and an up-to-date airport layout.

Further, the scenery also comes with a number of custom static vehicles as well as aircraft. Apart from the previously mentioned features, the scenery also comes with a simplified terminal interior model.

The scenery can be purchased through Orbx and SimMarket for about €15.30 with taxes excluded.
