MLD Scenery Releases Timisoara International Airport for MSFS

Moldavian developers MLD Scenery have announced via their Facebook page the release of their rendition of the Timisoara International Airport (LRTR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This add-on is their second airport scenery for MSFS.

According to MLD Scenery, the add-on features a realistic recreation of the real-life airport reflecting the latest changes until March 2023. The add-on includes Physically Based Rendering (PBR) textures specially fitted for changing-light environments, new custom ground polygons, and a specially designed night lightning. As we can infer from screenshots shared by the developer, the airport also features highly detailed interiors and adds custom buildings to the surrounding areas. They also provide a profile for the external add-on GSX Pro.

Located in the region of Banat and just 12 kilometers away from the center of Timisoara, the Traian Vuia International Airport is the third busiest airport in Romania. The name Traian Vuia honors a pioneer in Rumanian aviation. It serves as an operating base for Wizz Air and is a backup airport for Bucharest, Budapest, and Belgrade.

But if you already had the Prepar3D version of Timisoara Airport from SimMarket, you will have a discounted upgrade price of €12 on this new add-on. We also covered Iasi Airport by MLD Scenery here.
