MM Simulations Releases Nuuk Airport for MSFS

MM Simulations has released Nuuk International Airport (BGGH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Their last airport add-on was from Finland and now they continued the streak with another northern country, Greenland.

About Nuuk Airport

Located in the capital of Greenland, Nuuk, the airport only served small aircraft when it was built in 1979. Because of the need for international flights and other factors such as city growth, the runway was extended to 2,200 m. Along with the runway, a new apron and a modern terminal were built. Greenland Air, the country’s flag carrier, currently uses the airport as a hub and has a technical base located at the airport complex. The airline offers both passenger and cargo service in and out of the airport.

Nuuk Airport Add-on Features

The add-on comes with handcrafted terrain elevation and updated satellite imagery. You can also find custom surroundings such as the Hans Egede sculpture, dedicated to the person who founded the city of Nuuk. Animated objects and high-quality 3D vehicles are present. Both the interior and the exterior of the airport are 3D modeled and detailed. It offers a new runway and lighting system with accurate ground layouts and markings. The elevation model of the airport also matches the real-world elevation.
