MSFS Announces Partnership with Embraer

Following the World Update XIX: Brazil, Suriname, Guyana, and French Guiana, released a few days ago, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team has communicated its excitement to announce its collaboration with Embraer – a real-life aircraft manufacturer and global leader in the aerospace industry.

About Embraer

Headquartered in Brazil, but maintaining different kinds of facilities in the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe, Embraer designs, develops, manufactures, and markets aircraft and systems. Since its founding in 1969, Embraer has delivered more than 9,000 aircraft. On average, every 10 seconds an aircraft manufactured by Embraer takes off somewhere in the world, which accounts for more than 150 million passengers per year in total, according to the company.

The Partnership

The partnership is set to bring two aviation-related companies closer. Jorg Neumann, Microsoft Flight Simulator Lead, stated “Our goal for the collaboration is to bring many of Embraer’s aircraft models into the simulator,” which opens the doors for a new aircraft in MSFS in collaboration with the real-life aircraft manufacturer Embraer. “Embraer’s state-of-the-art fleet and focus on innovation make it the perfect partner for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and our goal for the collaboration is to bring many of Embraer’s aircraft models into the simulator as part of our ‘Expert Series’. We are happy to announce that we are starting this collaboration with the widely popular Embraer Praetor 600, which will be launched in the simulator later this year.”

Praetor 600 Coming to MSFS: A Product of the Partnership

Present in various parts of the world, the Praetor 600 is the world’s longest-range super-midsize jet, highlighting its capability of flying directly from London to New York or from São Paulo to Miami. Being the only one in its class to offer full fly-by-wire, combined with a quiet cabin, and featuring a six-foot-tall flat-floor cabin with fully reclining seats, for six-foot beds, and a lavatory, it is widely chosen by many customers worldwide.

“We are excited to share the Praetor 600, the world’s most innovative and technologically advanced Super-Midsize business jet, with the Microsoft Flight Simulator community,” said Felipe Alfaia, director of marketing, CRM and customer experience at Embraer Executive Jets. “It’s a pleasure to see our industry-leading jet arrive at the world’s most popular consumer flight simulator in late 2025.”
